I have two large, rambunctious dogs, one of whom is very hard to walk in our neighborhood because he will lunge at other dogs and has pulled me down on the sidewalk. I was hesitant to hire a pet sitter because of this but wanted to be able to let the dogs stay at home and also to save on huge kennel bills. I found David on Care.com and hired him to walk and feed my dogs for the past five days. He was fantastic. He is a very nice and conscientious young man. The dogs took to him right away. He was able to walk the “lunger” even on sidewalks with other dogs passing close by, without a problem. He came to my home three times a day, and sent an email after each walk. I have a security system that he inactivated and reset each time he came to the house, again no problems. (I could see remotely when the system was disarmed and armed, which reflected his regular schedule with the dogs.) I have already hired David again for a few days around Christmas and plan to ask him to take care of my dogs any time I am away in the future. I know they will be happy to see him again.

They took care of our 2 cats (Mufasa and Ellie), and the cats loved them! Our cats take a while to warm up to people, but not this time. We received pictures of the cats, as we were missing them terribly. Very thoughtful towards the pets as well as the owners! They also brought in our mail and turned on lights at different times and different locations of the house. This attention to detailis exactly why we will use them over and over and highly recommend them to all of our friends and family.
